Our reader complained about 3 women who choped 3 extra seats at the hawker centre using long umbrellas. As it was lunchtime, our reader had difficulties finding seats and was irritated that they were taking up so many seats. The reader suggested for NEA to make it illegal to chope seats with objects as it is very inconsiderate to other people.

A father found a metal strip in a lunch set from I Love Taimei at Punggol Waterway. He ordered the food via foodpanda and only noticed the metal strip when he was halfway through his meal. He was shocked that the food handler failed to realise it and was worried about the danger of leaving a metal object in other people's food. He was relieved he did not let his kids eat the bento. The father has since written to the eatery and the National Environment Agency about it.

I was shocked to see this Singapore lady asks her facebook followers on how these fishes could be cooked. Aren't these Koi fishes found in ponds for display purpose? Can it be safe for consumption? Where can such koi fish be bought for cooking? Her friend suggest to her to deep fry the koi and eat it with sambal sauce.

Was very upset on some of the Employers post... Maid asked A simple McDonald's meal...employer who seems to be working in a Bank claims Nowdays Maids asking for 'Atas' food.

While waiting at the bus stop,I saw this poor worker squatting down on the wet floor(heavy rain just stopped) having his lunch... Me : Why don't you just sit on the bench and eat, bhaiya? Worker : No abang,I don't want to the dirty the seat...

Poor auntie, someone bought her this lunch pack. Before she open to eat, she doss off to sleep. She is one of the senior cardboard collector in the market place.

I refer to the article ”ST School Pocket Money Fund helps record number of needy students” (Straits Times, Oct 10). It states that ”Pocket money is given to students whose families meet the eligibility criteria of not more than $560 in monthly gross household per capita income.”

As what people always say, nursing is a rewarding career because nurses care for the ill no matter what race we are.... but what the public don't know is not all hospitals treat their staff well. Especially nursing staff. At least not in my ex dept of XXX hospital. Staff are usually overworked with tons of patients to assist everyday. Often the staff don't go for lunch which is 1 hour of break.
