GRAB DRIVER RETURN LOST PHONE, GOT ATTACKED WITH HAMMER INSTEAD

A passenger smashed a Grab car with his hammer after losing his phone in the vehicle. He was angry that the driver waited at least 2 days before returning him the phone. According to the Grab driver, the man was on his way from Jurong to Bugis when he lost his phone in the car. The driver only found out later but was too occupied with his duties over the weekend. He tried messaging the man to tell him to collect it personally if he was in a rush. When they finally met, the man rushed towards his car and smashed it with a hammer. The commotion escalated into a fight at Geylang with the driver suffering minor injuries.

I LOST MY ENGAGEMENT RING ON THE PUBLIC BUS, PLS HELP IF YOU FIND IT

Our engagement ring is missing. It was missing on Friday 17/6/16 from 8:30am to 12pm. I've never tried this before. I don't know if this works but desperate situations call for desperate measures. I believe in good karma and have faith that there are good Samaritans out there. The police are not going to help much at all, so we have to take things on our own.

HONEST SMRT BUS DRIVER WATCHED OVER LOST LAPTOP & RETURNED IT TO OWNER

According to the bus uncle, he was monitoring the unattended laptop for awhile. When a middle aged man allegedly tried to take my laptop after noticing it, he knew something was up. The man was seated at the back of the bus and came to the front once to survey the surroundings, and the second time, to take my laptop before attempting to alight. Mr Ramasamy recalled that the man was not holding anything when he boarded the bus and so he asked the man if the laptop was his. The man was unable to answer as to what brand the laptop was and even came up with a lame excuse on the pretext that he was taking the laptop to the police station. Mr Ramasamy did not let him alight, and even threatened to call the police if he did not hand the laptop to him.

HOW A SINGAPOREAN STUDENT SURVIVED 7 DAYS WITHOUT FOOD ON A CAMBODIAN MOUNTAIN

Mr Sanjay said: "I tried to keep positive throughout the seven days. I had hope and belief that I would be all right. I thought of a lot of inspirational stories that I had heard of before. Everything happens for a reason, and the key was to keep calm and just keep moving. There was no point panicking, crying or screaming because no one was there to help me."
