A reader sent this photo to us and warned us that there was a monitor lizard next to the foreign workers' dormitory at Penjuru, Jurong.

I have, for many years, enjoyed your range of products from Honey Bunches of Oats, Great Grains and most recently, Waffle Crisp. Unfortunately when I opened my box of Waffle Crisp this morning to pour out a bowl of what I hoped to be delicious cereal, what instead came tumbling out along with the golden waffles was a lizard, a crispy yellow lizard to be exact.

Hours after it said it would launch an inquiry into how a lizard got into an airline passenger's meal, Air India issued a statement to the media dismissing the accusations as "false and baseless". "We are denying any such incident. One because we do not know the authenticity of the photograph and two... no passenger has lodged any such complaint," an airline spokesperson told the media.
