TWO MEN RACED THEIR BMW, REACHED TOP SPEED OF 179KMH

The two men, aged 38 and 39, drove their BMWs up to speeds of 177km/h and 179km/h along the road towards Jalan Bahar, but were stopped and arrested by the Traffic Police. The speed limit on that stretch of lonely road is 50km/h. They were believed to be taking part in an illegal race in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

MASSIVE NUMBERS OF DEAD WILD FISH SPOTTED AT LIM CHU KANG & KRANJI

The media reported that an estimated six tonnes of wild and cultured fish were found dead along the Straits of Johor in the past four days. This is not as huge as the 600 tonnes of fish that AVA estimates died on Singapore farms in East Johor Strait. Please help me monitor dead fishes washing up on the Johor Straits. Please let me know if you see large numbers (more than 10) especially of large dead fishes (more than 20cm long) washing up on the northern shores such as Pulau Ubin, Lim Chu Kang, Sungei Buloh, Kranji, Woodlands Waterfront, Sembawang, Punggol, Lorong Halus, Pasir Ris, Changi.

REMEMBER SINGAPORE: NEO TIEW ESTATE

In Lim Chu Kang, there is a small public housing area known as Neo Tiew Estate (or Lim Chu Kang Rural Centre). The whole area was en-bloc in 2002, with the residents shifted to Jurong West. The estate was vacated since then, and is currently used for FIBUA (Fighting in Built-Up Areas) trainings by the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
