LIFT IN OLD ESTATE WITH MANY ELDERLY KEEP BREAKING DOWN – APART FROM TC, WHO CAN HELP?

I stay in Blk 3 Queens Road for 10 years . There is one particular Lift , Lift A that broke down or "Not in Order" for at least 20-30 times already this year. I believe the town council sub cons are trying to save money and not doing the proper repairs to it. Every other day, the lift will breaks down, and the lift technician will come do some tweeks and leave it running again. A machinery or equipment that breaks down so often cannot be deem fit for use. Is the lift really safe for use since its already so unreliable ? Is the town council waiting for another tragic incident to happen before they start to repair or do proper repairs to the lift ?

LIFT BREAKDOWNS NOW A NATIONAL PANDEMIC, THANKS TO POOR PAP PLANNING AGAIN?

Two days later, all 4 lifts broke down at a 40-storey HDB block in Dover Cresent. A resident of the affected block in Dover Cresent told CNA that there had been issues with the lifts since more than 5 years ago. It is believed that the lifts under Halimah Yacob’s town council had also previously malfunctioned. It appears the government has constructed higher buildings on the assumption that nothing would go wrong. Contingency plans were not needed as problems would be solved only when they arises, similar to MRT breakdowns. Good planning?

YISHUN LIFT ELECTRICAL WIRES LEFT EXPOSED, SLOPPY WORK BY REPAIR CREW

It's been several weeks now and your lift Maintenance crew has yet to rectify sloppy work that they have committed recently. I believe pictures will clearly explain what I am talking about. 1. The panel that should cover the lifts circuits board is fully exposed. 2. Given that there are multiple rat sightings in my neighbourhood I cannot imagine the danger that my fellow residents would be exposed to if rats chose to chew on those exposed lift wires. 3. At least 2 keys that are used to unlock the electrical panels are left in their key holes. This clearly shows that the maintenance crew has failed to do proper checks before they packed up for the day.

INCONSIDERATE ADULTS PUSH & SHOVE YOUNG KIDS TO CUT THE QUEUE AT LIFT LOBBY

Every weekend, Parkway Centre at Marine Parade Central is crowded with children attending classes at the many enrichment centers in the building. And it is always a pain waiting for the lifts at the ground floor. While most parents and children patiently queue up outside the lifts, there will be some inconsiderate parents who will cut queue from the sides thereby depriving others who are in the queue to get into the lifts.
