ELD has yet another cock-up to answer for. A voter was unable to cast her vote as an eligible voter because the system apparently reflected that she has voted. This is a serious matter about the integrity of the electoral process.

A Zaobao journalist known on IG as @songpei published a story on an NTU student who had Covid19, and took pictures from the latter's Instagram story without permission. The journalist had tried to ask the student for an interview about his experience with Covid, but the student declined and rejected him. However, he still went ahead to publish the story with the latter's IG pictures, and even details of his family members.

PRC nationals are now unable to read articles by the Singapore Chinese newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao, due to a possible blanket ban by Chinese authorities, who might be feeling jittery after the paper carried reports that made the PRC government uncomfortable.
