Today is Mr Lee Kuan Yew's one year death anniversary. Most Singaporeans respect Mr Lee for everything he sacrificed and did for Singapore. One important trait Mr Lee possessed was his disdain for imperfection and incompetence. SMRT's latest tragedy where two young technicians died after a train crashed into them while they were repairing the tracks is total incompetence. Lee Kuan Yew would have fired his sorry ass for not turning the situation around but made things worse. Sometimes I think Singapore really miss Mr Lee Kuan Yew's no nonsense approach to governance. He is firm, he is harsh, but he will force the people to make things work.

KINDERGARTEN MAKES CLUELESS CHILDREN BOW TO LEE KUAN YEW’S PORTRAIT

A video of a group of kindergarten children being made to bow three times to Lee Kuan Yew's picture on the wall has gone viral on the internet. Netizen Tengmu Fuming shared his video on Monday morning and it has since spread like wildfire. "the kindergarten at my block asking the children to bow three time out of respect to the photo of Mr Lee after telling them a short story of him. Do the children understand?" It is uncertain which Kindergarten is responsible for this incident. The uniform the children are wearing appears to be predominantly white with shades of red and blue.

Regarding the MCCY's guidelines on the use of the late Mr. LKY name and image, it should cut BOTH ways. The man is dead, let him RIP.
