To be honest, I guess many already knows why our MRT keep breaking down. Our MRT was designed back in SG golden era of about 2 million people, now it is already three times that population and it will still keep raising.

The LTA has released a media statement on the Upper Changi Rd worksite accident where 1 worker was killed and another 10 injured. The deceased is from China. LTA said it is investigating if there are any lapses and working with MOM, SCDF and the Police to deal with the matter. "Preliminary investigations indicate that the corbels supporting the pre-cast beams had given way. As a precautionary measure, LTA is checking all other work sites. Works at all LTA road and rail construction sites will observe a safety timeout this morning."
