A netizen suggested for Minister Khaw Boon Wan to stop appraising himself selectively and take responsibility for the lack of MRT reliability today. He warned that Singaporeans are patient but there is still a limit, and advised him to be there in hours of need, "not disappear and only reappear again when the war is over".

Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan made some mean comments about reporters doing their duties to report on the non stop MRT breakdowns and he lashed out at them and told them to stop writing so much and to run the MRT system themselves if they are so capable themselves. This is a disgrace. At least Lui Tuck Yew was man enough to take media and singaporean criticisms, this khaw boon wan fail to do his job but still have the cheek to scold critics of his failed MRT recovery?
