Huge Fire Broke Out In East Coast, Spans 2 Football Fields, Third Huge Fire In 1 Day

This was the third huge vegetation fire that occurred on Monday. Earlier in the day, two separate vegetation fires broke out along Jurong Road and Pang Sua Canal. The fire at Jurong apparently was as bog as 10 football fields. Investigations are still being carried out by the SCDF on all three fires.

Man caught on video scolding PRC coffeeshop worker for being low class. It was unsure what triggered him but he left after letting his steam off. There was no physical fight nor did the worker retaliate. Why so fierce? Does he think he is very high class such that he can anyhow scold people?

A middle-aged woman created a ruckus on bus 197 as she wailed and demanded money from other passengers. She claimed she needed money to buy medicine, eat, and take bus home. She was dressed normally but seemed to be in need of psychiatric help.

JURONG HDB FLAT TURNS INTO BROTHEL, AT LEAST 50 DIFF MEN VISIT DAILY

A HDB flat located at Jurong West Street 65 has been fingered out by nearby residents as a brothel after they noticed more than 50 different men entering and leaving the premises on a daily basis. The 3 ladies who lived in the unit were often spotted dressed in sexy clothes and are thought to be in their thirties.

SINGPOST TO TAKE DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST POSTMAN WHO LEFT LETTERS AT VOID DECK

SingPost will be taking disciplinary actions against the postman who left residents' letters at a void deck table in Jurong instead of in letterboxes. It apologised for the lapse and explained that its staff was only 5 months into the job. It also clarified that the postman merely left a bundle of letters behind, and that it was "a member of a public (who) likely undid the bundle and went through the stack before leaving them on the table". All the letters have since been delivered.

GRAB DRIVER RETURN LOST PHONE, GOT ATTACKED WITH HAMMER INSTEAD

A passenger smashed a Grab car with his hammer after losing his phone in the vehicle. He was angry that the driver waited at least 2 days before returning him the phone. According to the Grab driver, the man was on his way from Jurong to Bugis when he lost his phone in the car. The driver only found out later but was too occupied with his duties over the weekend. He tried messaging the man to tell him to collect it personally if he was in a rush. When they finally met, the man rushed towards his car and smashed it with a hammer. The commotion escalated into a fight at Geylang with the driver suffering minor injuries.

BODY OF 26 YR OLD MAN FOUND FLOATING AT JURONG LAKE

The body of a 26 year old man was found at Jurong Lake at 8.10am this morning. The SCDF were alerted to a floating body at the lake and sent two fire engines, fire bikes and a support vehicle to the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the scene in a case of unnatural death. Police are investigating the case.
