MALAYSIAN POLICE STOPPED SG CAR, BUT NOT MALAYSIAN CARS FOR SAME OFFENCE

I'm writing in to alert frequent drivers to JB. Do take note that they've changed certain roads direction to one way instead of two ways.

My friend wasn't aware of it and end up driving the opposite direction. Officers were seen on duty. One of the officer stopped his car and my friend was told to give his NRIC. Meanwhile, my friend saw a lot of cars (Malaysia car plate) driving the opposite direction but officer didn't stop them. My friend alerted the officer and asked him why they weren't stopped. He was told to shut up by the officer. Officer was holding on to his NRIC for more than 20 minutes. My friend asked a lot of questions and wasn't answered. My friend managed to take a video of a Malaysia car that another officer stopped. The officer didn't take down his particular and let him off after few minutes.

The money-crazy PAP Government tries to justify their latest increase on cross-border road charges by portraying it as tit-for-tat. Basically what they are telling the Singapore public is "they started it first".

“This is to ensure that Malaysia takes into consideration our response whenever they raise their tolls or introduce a new levy,” Mr Khaw said.

But before anyone is fooled, let's look at some events in time:

S'PORE CAR SJZ8479U PUMP PETROL @ JB CALTEX & DROVE OFF, MAKCIK STAFF FORCED TO PAY FOR HIM

Singapore registered car SJZ8479U pumped petrol at JB Caltex CIQ but "forget" to pay money. The poor kiosk attendant had to pay out of her own pocket hundred over ringgit. This has nothing to do with nationality but I hope the culprit will faster appear and pay back the money to the makcik attendant. She has been crying over this incident for a few days. This money may be little to you but it means the world to her.
