PARENTS OF SEC 2 ACS BOY SUED SCHOOL FOR CONFISCATING HIS IPHONE

Parents of a Sec 2 student have sued his school, ACS (Barker Rd) for confiscating his handphone. The boy was using his iPhone 7 in class when it was confiscated by the teacher. According to the school's rules, anybody caught using handphones in class will have their devices confiscated for 3 months. The boy himself indicated that he was aware of the rule. However, his parents were relentless as they sent letters demanding the school to return their son's phone immediately. They threatened to take this to the court if nothing is done. They finally decided to take the case to court when they did not receive a reply from the school.

S’PORE MAN BUYS IPHONE 7 ONLINE, RECEIVES A BOX OF NAILS INSTEAD!

A Singaporean man was cheated big time after he purchased an iPhone 7 online but got a iPhone box full of nails instead. He met up with the seller in person at a MRT station to pay for the iPhone but after paying, the seller rushed off in a hurry. Feeling suspicious, the buyer opened the iPhone box and to his horror he saw the box filled with nails instead of a real iPhone 7 and made a police report in fury. With the help of TransCom police officers, police started an investigation and arrested the 25 year old scam suspect.

S’PORE POLICE: DO NOT MISUSE BOARDING PASS TO BUY GST-FREE IPHONE 7

The Police have arrested a man and a woman for their suspected involvement in a case of misuse of boarding pass on 16 September 2016 at the transit area of Changi Airport. Investigations revealed that both suspects were believed to have entered the transit area to purchase the Apple iPhone 7 and had no intention to depart Singapore. Investigations against the suspects are ongoing. The transit areas of Changi Airport are gazetted as Protected Places. The Police would like to remind all passengers who enter the transit hall with a boarding pass should only be there for the purpose of travelling to their next destinations.
