NETIZEN LISTS ACTUAL ISSUES PM LEE SHOULD HAVE COVERED IN RALLY

A netizen who was equally perplexed by the PM's talking points during the NDR highlighted actual issues which should have been raised at the event. He thinks politicians should not focus on the "rosy outlook" here because Singapore will no longer be a special location in the global economy if they adopt this narrow mindset.

LTA FINALLY SEEK EXPERT HELP TO GIVE MRT NETWORK A HEALTH CHECKUP

THE Land Transport Authority (LTA) is looking for experts to assess the health of the entire rail network as the regulator and operators grapple with glitches that do not seem to go away. The authority has called one tender inviting parties to analyse the condition of the operating system, and another to look at the state of the infrastructure. An LTA spokesman said the move is part of "continuous efforts to ensure the safety and reliability of rail services".

WHY IS THE GOVT IS KILLING ALL OUR TREES & SUFFOCATING US S'POREANS

In all honesty, what is the purpose of conducting 'tree planting days' by our politicians while there are ongoing indiscriminate killing of numerous trees not only in our neighbourhood, but islandwide ? Our green, outdoor spaces are diminishing at such a rapid space by our Govt's growth at all cost & lax immigration policies. The latter contributing to more infrastructure development resulting in less green spaces for us Singaporeans. It is suffocating to the point of unbearable.
