A 50 year old Singaporean tourist got bitten badly by a komodo dragon in Indonesia's Komodo National Park because he provoked it by going past the designated safe zone for people to watch the animals. He wanted to go closer so that he can take better photos of them. He approached the animals despite warnings by the villagers there, which was what provoked the Komodo dragon into attacking him and biting his left leg.
