PPL SHLD PRESSURISE THEIR MP TO CONVENE AN INQUIRY INTO LEE FAMILY DISPUTE

A concerned citizen hoped for Singaporeans, especially residents of Aljunied GRC and Hougang should pressurise their MPs to convene an independent inquiry into the Lee family dispute. "This was also done previously when the late honorable JBJ had launched accusations against LKY both inside and outside of Parliament." He fears that if this is not done, it will have serious implications for Singapore as we may be exploited by other countries.

PLS CALL UNCLE PETER IF U NEED PLUMBING SERVICES IN THE EAST

I was recommended by my neighbour to engage Uncle Peter to my office to fix my leaking tap this afternoon. He's 82 this year, living on his own (his children are all overseas) and he survives on this as his financial means but he does not compromise his services to me. After changing my tap, he took initiative to cement the sides of my sink (seeing that the old silicon has worned off). He didn't even charge me extra for the additional patching work for the sink. All he asked for is $30 for his workmanship (excluding materials cost) plus the tap he bought (in this case is $38).

S'POREAN GIRL: MALAYSIAN GUYS ARE BETTER THAN SINGAPOREAN GUYS

I am an average Singaporean girl-next-door and after being in a dating scene for a while, I realised that Singaporean guys cannot compare to Malaysian guys. Even though Singaporean guys are generally more well-groomed, they still lack the confidence to carry themselves well. They are also more sheltered, dependent and like to hide behind their mother's apron strings. Yet they are super not realistic and always hope to be together with the chio-est girl in school or work even though these girls are way beyond their league. On the other hand, Malaysian guys are more independent and can be depended on because they do not lead such a pampered life and are more resourceful in getting things done.

IS THE GOVT BEHIND SO CALLED "NEUTRAL" SOCIO-POLITICAL WEBSITES?

I recently chanced on a few socio-political websites on Facebook. Thinking that they are neutral, I decided to like and follow them. The Independent, The Middle Ground and Breakfast Network are some websites I came across. After reading several articles, I believe they are camouflaging as neutral with an agenda to sway opinions towards the PAP.

ELDERLY MALAY GRANDPA LIVING ALONE IN TERRIBLE CONDITIONS

Today is Hari Raya but not every family can celebrate this festive day, especially those elderly who stay alone. I went to visit this Malay grandpa at Beach Road today and was kind of upset when I saw his living condition. He is 78 years old, staying alone in a rented flat. He refused to accept any assistance from the government agency despite that they are so willing to help him. I feel that this Malay grandpa is quite selective toward the people that coming forward to him. He reminds me of the Marsiling Lane grandma with three grandchild as they are equally stubborn.
