Singapore's Changi Airport has lost out to Seoul's Incheon Airport to be the region's airport with the best customer service. Changi came in joint second place with Delhi Airport and Mumbai Airport. While second is a god achievement for most countries, this won't do for Singapore. We used to take pride in being first in everything. Now, even customer service also we lose out. We are known for a strong labour force, surely customer service should be our strong point?

Athletes are snapping up thousands of free condoms being given out at the Asian Games, organizers said Thursday. "We've been handing out condoms over the past three days but their daily ration of 5,000 runs out quickly every day," Choi Hyeung-Dae, a games organising committee official told AFP. "But this does not mean that athletes have already been engaged in bed-hopping. I think most of them just want to keep them as souvenirs", he said.

A member of Singapore's fencing team clinched the country's first medal at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, on Saturday (Sep 20). Competing in the Men's Epee Individual competition, Lim Wei Wen edged out Hong Kong's Nicola Lu Min in the Quarter-Final 16-15 to qualify for the next round, securing the country's first medal in this year's Asiad in the process.
