The past month was also the Lunar calendar’s 7th month. This means that incense burning practices were ongoing. Although incense burning bins are provided for such purposes, some Singaporeans continue to burn outside of the bins, causing a mess that had to be cleaned up by our unsung heroes. There …

I opened my door today to this huge flame outside my home and my neighbour, the lady captured in the picture attached burning her incense paper along the common corridor so brazenly. I shared my concerns on the impending 'hazardous bonfire in the middle of the road' and that they should come and take a look if they doubt me. Hung up, continued recording for next 20 mins, no SCDF, no SPF came.

There is no sense of customer-orientedness in the companies in your chain. I was at Toastbox at Rail Mall this afternoon and found that the store was very smoky. At first I was alarmed because I thought it was a fire but later my colleague told me it was because a staff member had been burning incense for the Hungry Ghost Festival inside the hidden kitchen area or immediately outside it (he had been told by the PRC kitchen assistant).
