Ok guys. Our Buddhist/Taoist/Chinese brothers and sisters have started praying for their hungry ghost month. Please tolerate with their burning of offerings. How many days only what??!! If the bins are near to those living in lower floors like mine, try asking them nicely to move it to a further location. If they decline, find other means to combat with the smoke and soot. Close your windows. Blast your fans. Don't complain but find a solution.

If Nicole L petition was somehow being approved by logically explanation because she is an activist well as individual normal citizen i too would like arise this concerning issue, Hungry Ghost festival, here are the points and problem that this festival are causing harm to our environment, pest issue, littering issues. I can tolerate and so does the malay community, but don't take our generosity as weakness, we can tolerate nonsense but not to our religion. There is no sense of customer-orientedness in the companies in your chain. I was at Toastbox at Rail Mall this afternoon and found that the store was very smoky. At first I was alarmed because I thought it was a fire but later my colleague told me it was because a staff member had been burning incense for the Hungry Ghost Festival inside the hidden kitchen area or immediately outside it (he had been told by the PRC kitchen assistant).

For those of you who don't know, the Hungry Ghost Festival is period which Chinese Singaporeans believe the ghosts of Chinese ancestors are let out of hell for one month.
