COURT FORECLOSED M RAVI’S FLAT WITHOUT CONSIDERING HIS ILL HEALTH

The Court foreclosed M Ravi's HDB flat even though he was too ill to appear in court. Despite having the relevant medical documents to prove his ill health, the court did not relent. Our reader is asking for Singaporeans to donate to M Ravi who may become homeless when he gets discharged. After all, he has always been fighting for people's rights and was never concerned about funding for himself.

BOY NEEDED 13 STITCHES FROM EXPLODING FIDGET SPINNER

A boy was sent to the hospital after suffering deep cuts to his face from playing with his fidget spinner. He needed 13 stitches. He and his father were trying to use compressed air to make the fidget spinner go faster when it burst into pieces and shot off in all directions. One of the sharper pieces sliced the boy's face, just on top of his mouth, causing a deep and bloody gash. A doctor from Raffles Medical advised against improper use of fidget spinners but said that the toy is otherwise safe. Parents, watch out for your kids and make sure they don't anyhow play with it!

9 YEAR OLD GIRL TAKEN TO HOSPITAL IN CHAIN COLLISION AT PIE

Seven vehicles collided on the PIE on Tuesday, causing one 9 year old girl to be sent to hospital. The collision involved a van, a lorry and five cars along the PIE heading towards Changi Airport. The girl was reportedly travelling in the last car in the chain collision, and she was taken conscious to KK Women and Children's Hospital. The accident took place after Stevens Road Exit, and the congestion were up till Lornie Road.

61 YEAR OLD MAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING HIT BY DRUNK LORRY DRIVER

A drunk 26 year old man crashed his lorry into a car along Guillemard Road early on Monday morning, causing a 61 year old man, who was the driver of the car, to be taken to hospital. Reports showed a lorry beside a black car, which had mounted the kerb. Police confirmed that they were alerted to the accident at about 4:06am at the junction of Guillemard Road and Guillemard Crescent.The 61 year old man was taken conscious to the hospital, although his injuries were not reported.

ANOTHER HORRIFIC ACCIDENT IN SINGAPORE SEES A MAN TRAPPED IN HIS VAN

In a spate of horrific accidents to have occurred on Monday, another incident saw the SCDF had to cut open the driver's door of one of the accident vehicles to free the driver. In this particular accident, a trailer and van collided in Tuas, which caused the front of the van to cave in and trapped the van driver. SCDF officers were seen frantically trying to cut open the door of the van to free the trapped man. The accident, which happened at the junction of Pioneer Road and Tuas West Road, involved only the two vehicles. SCDF confirmed that a man in his 20s, who was the van driver, had multiple injuries and sent to National University Hospital.
