NO STUDYING SIGN IN CAFES DO NOT STOP STUDENTS FROM STUDYING EVEN ON BUSY WEEKENDS

I am writing to complain about students hogging seats in cafes such as Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Last Sat afternoon, even tho it was a weekend, I had a lot of difficulties getting a seat coz many people were taking up whole tables by themselves with laptops and books. Tables for two were occupied by one pax & laptop. When I asked if I cld share a table most of them turned me down, saying that the seat was occupied. All I saw on the other chair were bags, books and laptop case. Feels like I walked into a library instead of a cafe!

CYCLISTS SHOULD LEARN TO CYCLE SINGLE FILE & STOP ROAD HOGGING

Cyclists should only cycle in single file. Most cyclists I see, especially those wearing fancy cycling attires like to cycle side by side. I'm all for everyone sharing the road...but cyclists seem to forget that if they dun ride safely, we drivers may lose our licence / freedom (go to jail) but they may lose their lives.

PEOPLE’S ASSOCIATION DENIES HOGGING AUSTRALIAN BBQ TICKETS, SAYS TICKETS WERE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED

The People's Association (PA) has flat out denied hogging tickets to the "first come first served" mass barbeque event organized by the Australian High Commission. The BBQ took place simultaneously at 20 locations in Singapore in celebration of 50 years of good Singapore-Australia ties. In its statement, the PA said a total of 4,800 tickets were given out, and explained that the ticketing system was to control the crowds and assure ticket holders the chance to enjoy their food.
