PPL AGAINST PINKDOT ARE NOT OLD-FASHIONED, LGBTS ARE THE INTOLERANT ONES!

Our reader defended those who got offended by Pink Dot's advertisement at Cathay Cineleisure. He/she said that people who are against Pink Dot are not old-fashioned or easily offended. Instead, it is the LGBTs who do not tolerate their views and portray them as such. The reader said homosexuality itself is even more old fashioned as it dates back to ancient Greek and Rome. He/she accepts LGBT colleagues and friends but is against those who try to make homosexuality a mainstream culture. What do you think?

When I was fired, both the Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the Ministry of Health sent out press releases to support the firing, saying that I had defamed the prime minister. The firing is political. The PAP government wanted to get rid of me. A few days before, I was told that the Ministry of Health had decided to meet with the hospital for the very first time in many years to discuss funding for HIV programmes. If the hospital did not fire me, funding for HIV programmes could be cut.

HOMOSEXUAL MAN JAILED FOR DONATING HIV-TAINTED BLOOD

The 23-year-old had pleaded guilty to the offence at Bloodbank@Dhoby Ghaut, Health Sciences Authority, at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, on Dec 19, 2012. He cannot be named due to a gag order. Investigation showed that the defendant had declared that he had not "had sex with another male" when he in fact had been having a regular sexual relationship with a male partner since 2010. He also had sex with a male stranger sometime in December 2011 after a few drinks.
