After being sent to East Coast GRC to go up against the WP's team consisting of promising candidate Nicole Seah, Fumbling Heng lived up to his name and fumbled embarrassingly during his Nomination Day speech. What made it more awkward was that Jessica Tan, who was standing behind him, had her mask upside down with an inverted PAP logo.

To East Coast voters, please vote WP and vote Heng Swee Keat out. This is the best chance for us to get Tharman as Singapore's PM, if Heng is out. You will get Nicole Seah and an excellent WP team in Parliament. Heng Swee Keat can be appointed to head GIC or better still, Temasek Holdings to replace Ho Ching.

In a surprise move, Heng Swee Keat showed up at the St Anthony's Canossian nomination centre in Bedok North to file his nomination papers for East Coast GRC. WP has consistently walked the grounds of East Coast GRC. Therefore it comes with no surprise that WP commands a significant percentage of votes as seen in the previous elections, even reaching a high of 45.2% of votes in GE2011. By moving Heng Swee Keat to East Coast GRC, it seems the PAP is hoping that the "4G leader" will be able to shore up whatever remaining support the PAP has in this GRC.

In less than 24 hours after PAP's Ivan Lim announced he was determined to carry on contesting in GE2020, he U-turned and withdrew his candidacy. If Lim and the PAP thought they could quell the criticisms against Lim, they probably realised how wrong they were and how grossly they underestimated the intensity of the feedback against Lim's conduct.

Ivan Lim has tried to explain himself in response to online criticisms and maintained that he will not back out from contesting. He did not apologise for his arrogant behaviour and instead gave his version of stories with regards to the incidents posted online.

After it is clear that the PSP led by Dr Tan Cheng Bock would be contesting in West Coast GRC, the PAP must have felt so uneasy that they sent the DPM Heng Swee Keat all the way from the East to show face at West Coast Teban Market on Saturday, 27 June morning.

A petition to kick Ivan Lim out of GE2020 was started on 26 June 2020 after comments about the new PAP candidate being arrogant and elitist were circulating widely on social media.

Parliament has been dissolved. The PAP has no right to use state media to showcase their candidates before the campaigning period. Yesterday, each new candidate presented by Heng Swee Keat and Masagos Zulkifli in a press conference was given airtime on Mediacorp's Channel 5 and Channel 8 news i.e. national TV when giving their individual speeches about why they joined PAP. On the other hand, opposition members were briefly flashed on screen.

A Singaporean has exposed PAP new candidate Ivan Lim Shaw Chuan, the GM of Keppel Offshore & Marine as an elitist who was never well liked by his battalion when he was CO because of his condescending attitude. He apparently had a habit of boasting about his personal achievements and drove around camp in expensive cars. Just like many PAP members sitting in their ivory towers, it is unfathomable how such politicians can empathise with ordinary citizens and be their voice in parliament.

While many may rejoice at being able to resume their normal activities again, we need to question why the government is so eager to move into phase 2, especially after the 154 media keeps releasing new information about potential PAP candidates on the ground. So now that people are able to gather in groups of 5 albeit with social distancing, this means that it is not illegal for people to be out and about, which means that the PAP can start their door-to-door campaigning, meeting the electorate and start selling their koyok again.
