A man in his 50's who was reportedly jogging at the MacRitchie Nature Trail near the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) last Saturday, was found lying on the ground. It was understood that he had suffered a heart attack, and subsequently died in the hospital.

The Singaporean man who was in a coma in Tokyo, has died upon his return to Singapore. He had been medically evacuated from Tokyo after his daughter had raised the fund through crowdfunding. Mr Jimi Cheong, 62, arrived on home soil on Tuesday, May 2, but passed away shortly after. He had been on holiday with his family in Tokyo when he suffered a cardiac arrest on April 19 and slipped into a coma. His daughter, Ms Eileen Cheong, 25, turned to crowdfunding to bring her father back to Singapore as her father's travel insurers MSIG said they were "unlikely to have a successful claim as his collapse was attributable to a pre-existing heart condition".

56 year old Malaysian Yam Kok Kong was pronounced dead after collapsing at Johor Bahru's immigration clearance last Thursday. He was riding a bike from Singapore and doing his routine thumbprint scan at the Bangunan Sultan Abu Bakar Customs Immigration and Quarantine Complex when he suddenly collapsed. Nothing could be done although many passers by went to his aid. He was pronounced dead at the scene and reportedly suffered from a heart attack. Yam was a project engineer in Tuas. A 67 year old elderly man suffered a fatal heart attack at Marina Bay Sands, moments after he caught the rare pokemon Lapras. He was an avid player of Pokemon Go and was a level 28 player with over 200 types of pokemon captured. The deceased regularly visited the MBS to hunt for pokemon and had a history of cardiac disease. Even though the elderly man was conveyed to the hospital, he passed away shortly after he was admitted.
