DIABETIC HAS NO MONEY TO PAY FOR TREATMENT, BUT MEDISAVE WON’T ALLOW HIM TO WITHDRAW MORE FUNDS

On 10 July I went for my review at Sengkang Polyclinic and was told that I need to go for follow-up treatment with National Eye Centre as I revealed to them that in February and July 2014 I underwent surgeries on both my eyes for cataract and glaucoma but after the post surgery compulsory checks I stopped going as each visit sets me back by between $ 70-100/- and I can't afford it as I'm earning below $ 2000/- after CPF deduction is around $ 1600/-. I requested the Nurse to discharge me knowing fully well the risk of being blind again but do I have any other choice ?

It is very often that a feedback is given to the technical team but no actions are being taken. They responces would be,"Oh its like that one..". How can that be? How can an employee be working day and night in a hazardous enviroment? This is very irresponsible of SMRT.

OVERSEAS SINGAPOREANS WHO DO NOT PAY MEDISHIELD LIFE PREMIUMS MAY BE JAILED

I just read some things about the Medishield Life a while ago. In news report, they say that Singaporeans or PRs who live overseas are also required to pay Medishield Life premiums!? I am overseas now, and probably will be residing there for a long term.
