MP for Tampines GRC Baey Yam Keng has responded to a badly ill-translated notice at one of his estate's HDB blocks. Turns out the notice was not authorised by the Town Council - someone had likely put it there in his/her own capacity.

A HDB unit had caught fire at Jurong East this morning, causing 7 people to be sent to hospitals for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

A netizen complained about a faulty lock for his new flat which caused him to waste a lot of time and griped that HDB should at least have sent an officer down to check. Why are new flats not done up properly nowadays?
