Twenty five aspiring hawkers have now gone back to school to learn how to manage a hawker business, which includes how to source for suppliers and formulate a business plan. This group was among the first of three Introduction to Managing a Hawker Business lessons, organised by NEA and ITE.

The recent uproar about the close of the Sungei Road Market and the fact that many of the sellers there will lose their place of business seems like it might not be over yet.
