It was around 7 pm when a light pungent smell hit the lower ground of my flat. We ignored the smell until the clock hit midnight then the pungent smell became so gagging. We off the tv & the lights. I place my daughter who was less than a year old nearest to the balcony (so very silly of me). I was in the middle and my hubby on my left. There’s no more pungent smell either but immediately after the light was off, come this eerie sinister sounds of laughter so loud, echoing into my ears. I caught hold of my hubby’s hand & yes, he was frozen with fear.

I was left at my neighbour's house (same floor, a few units away) because no one's home during the day and i was too young to be by myself. I would love to pester the husband of this lady neighbour for sweets, yelling,"UNCLE, SWEETS! BUY SWEETS FOR ME! UNCLE!" while following him around the house.

My wife agreed to housesit/catsit her friends' place while they were off to Europe for a week. Months earlier, my wife said that the house was haunted because the cat was always hiding and/or meowing and staring at something invisible. However, everything went south come nightfall. The family started to hear strange noises at night. It was like someone was knocking rudely on our door. Then there was loud yelling throughout the hallway. We initially thought that the noises were coming from boisterous guests who were coming back after a round of drinks and so we made a noise complaint to the reception. But the noises didn't stop and became even louder instead. We decide to just leave the room altogether and go out for a bit to take in some of Singapore's nightlife. To our horror, we found the room in an absolute mess when we came back. Our furniture had been shifted around and aligned in thoroughly unnatural angles.
