I wan bring attention to this popular tidbit we buy from Daiso. Previously I buy to eat because it is made of corn and should be okay to consume. Recently, I see the ingredient list and to my disappointed now the corn caramel has babi LARD in it. Warning to all my fellow Muslims, this Daiso caramel corn is no longer Halal. Do not buy anymore!

FILIPINO FOREIGN TALENT CLAIMS CHRISTIANS CANNOT EAT HALAL FOOD?

On a forum, I see a post about a filipino foreign talent comment on the Singapore Carls Junior facebook page. He ask a really funny question on whether the burger was halal and nxt said that as Christian he cannot eat halal food. I wonder how true is this teaching? Are christians forbidden to eat food that was prayed or blessed by other religions? With more foreigners coming into singapore, I hope more sensibility will be put to this area. Hoping this is not true or it be hard for friends to eat together in future.

NETIZENS OUTRAGED OVER MARBLE SLAB CREAMERY’S “RAMADHAN SPECIAL” BOO BOO

Muslim netizens have taken to arms on Facebook by posting pictures of what appears to be a "Ramadhan Special" poster displayed at a marble Marble Slab Creamery outlet in Bugis. The netizens who posted these pictures on the Marble Slab Creamery Facebook said that the sign was very misleading to Muslims, who might not be aware that the chain outlets are not Halal certified. Hence, the use of the name Ramadhan to promote its ice cream promotions was both offensive and misleading.
