NAC WITHDREW FUNDING FROM "STATE OF EMERGENCY" NOVEL AS IT DEVIATED FROM PROPOSED CONTENT

Responding to Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) Dennis Tan's questions on the National Arts Council's (NAC) withdrawal of funding for the book, "State of Emergency" by Jeremy Tiang, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu told parliament today that the book "did not meet the funding requirements mutually agreed upon as the content in the book deviated from the original proposal."

PAP MINISTER GRACE FU DISGRACED BY GRACING FAILED SPEAK MANDARIN CAMPAIGN?

Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu came out to say that using the wrong character at the Speak Mandarin Campaign launch was a "serious mistake". Grace Fu said this was especially so for "an advocate for the proper use of Mandarin". Does Grace Fu feels disgraceful for being the guest of honour and launching the campaign. How can Singaporeans trust the Chinese standard of Speak Mandarin Campaign for making such a mistake.

SPEAK MANDARIN CAMPAIGN APOLOGISES FOR TYPO, OWNSELF CHECK OWNSELF AGAIN?

Organisers of the Speak Mandarin Campaign has apologised for their neglect and typo of the Chinese word "read" in the phrase "listen, speak, read, write". "The Speak Mandarin Campaign regrets the erroneous rendering of the character '读' as '渎' at the Official Launch yesterday, as these are two distinct characters with different meanings. PAP'S GRACE FU DEFENDS $410,000 CONSULTANT FEE FOR NAC BIN CENTRE, IT'S A COMPLEX PROJECT

The AGO report has revealed lots of lapses, including an eye-popping $410,000 consultancy fee for a $470,000 bin centre. Whoever authorised the payment at the National Arts Centre has to be held accountable and the MCCY owes the public an explanation. Instead, MCCY Minister Grace Fu defended her subordinate and claimed that it was a “complex” project requiring “significantly more design expertise”. Fu is wrong to assume the public could be taken for a ride easily.

FOODCOURT SCREAMER LIED ABT VISITING DEAF CLEANER TO APOLOGISE

Reports by the Chinese mainstream media reported that foodcourt screamer aka Melon San aka Alice Fong claimed to have brought an apology present to the deaf cleaner's house to seek his forgiveness and to apologise. However, the cleaner's brother who lives in the same house have come out clarifying that Alice Fong did not visit their house and most definitely did not offer her apologies.

PAP MP GRACE FU SAYS SHE WAS MISQUOTED ON AMOS YEE

Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu says that she was misquoted for her remarks on Amos Yee and his parents. "It's not just any YouTube video. It crosses the red line on religion. But I think that Amos Yee is not doing himself or his family any favors," she said, "How do you deal with a 16 year-old that is not able to comply with rules of society? It's kind of a parent's nightmare."
