Grabfood Customer Tried to Cancel Wrong Order But Told Food Would Be Disposed Instead

I placed order with GrabFood for Mcdonald's delivery on 19 Oct at 5.29pm. While placing the order, I realised the delivery address wrong at the wrong place. Subsequently, I tried to cancel the order via the app but was not able to. So I told the rider I try to call up GrabFood and ask for cancellation. In the call, the CSO told me that they cannot cancel the order as it is my fault as the customer to choose the wrong address.

Dishonest Grabfood Rider Indicated Order Delivered But Customer Did Not Receive It

Grab said to her that the rider has throw the food away as my mum did not put her unit number and said that the rider did give her a call. But my mum did not receive any phone calls or messages from the rider. The question is did the rider really throw the food away??? Grab should really reflect on its customer service as it is atrocious as they refuse to give my mum a refund!

Samaritan Stops To Help Delivery Rider In Pain

A Facebook user shared about his encounter with a GrabFood rider who experienced stomach pain while making a delivery. The kind samaritan was on his way home after sending his child to school. Based on his photos, the samaritan was in a car waiting at a road junction when he say the rider collapse with his motorcycle. The driver went to check on the rider and realised the rider looked very pale and his body was cold. The rider repeatedly said his stomach was in pain.

The Little Things Matter To GrabFood Delivery Rider

As a part-time GrabFood Delivery rider, all day I’m riding under the scorching sun and awaiting pings, even after receiving pings, I wait for a long time to collect orders from restaurants followed by delivery to Customers. On one occasion, a customer or should I say: an Angel whom I delivered food to, brought a smile on my face upon me delivering her order, she gave me a mini Snickers bar with a colorful note stating “ Thank You”.

Starbucks Branch At Liat Towers Gave Pleasant Surprise

Because yesterday i feel moody so i put some note at the GrabFood app. Then i'm surprised the Starbucks gave me a free drink. i checked the receipt again maybe i order wrong, but it is not. Maybe because of the note i wrote, so Starbucks gave me a free drink to cheer me up. They also wrote sweet messages for me and really made my day.

Covid19: GrabFood Rider Got Rude Reply When Informing Order Cancelled

GrabFood rider received a late-night order to purchase several items from Senor Taco, a restaurant in Clarke Quay. However due to this Covid19 situation, the restaurant is closed. So the rider informed the customer the order will be cancelled due to this closure. According to the rider, "the customer scolded The Grabfood rider 'FUCK. THANK YOU' That is rude and unnesty word to the rider". We hope that everyone will be more understanding and patient with essential workers during this difficult time.
