If Singapore succumbs to China's pressure and cut military ties with Taiwan, our international standing will be cut down into sizes. We will lose the international reputation which was painstakingly built up over the decades. If Singapore resisted and continued our military exercises in Taiwan, Beijing will have more excuses to escalate the issue and our National interests in China will be totally compromised by Beijing, using that "Rule of Law" discourse, all thanks to our PM Lee. Now we are forced to select between a disgraceful suicide or a heroic total self destruction.

GOH MENG SENG SAYS LGBTS ONLY CONCERNED WITH THEIR OWN PLIGHT

Following a series of Facebook posts by Syafarin Sarif, chairman of the People's Power Party (PPP), which claims that the Orlando Shootings may have been staged by "government organizations", the PPP's secretary-general Goh Meng Seng has also come out to "scold" the LGBT community for only caring about events that affect their community. He also cast doubts on certain aspects of the Orlando shooting and questioned whether there is more than meets the eye to this tragedy.

PPP’S SYAFARIN SARIF SAYS ORLANDO SHOOTING IS FAKE

The chairman of the People's Power Party, Syafarin Sarif has come out to cast doubts on whether the Orlando shootings really took place. Syafarin's views are in response to the tragic deaths of 49 people in a crowded gay club in Orlanda, Florida, after a lone gunman engaged in a shooting spree within the club on 12 June. The gunman was shot dead by police. He was subsequently identified as a homosexual Muslim man, Omar Mateen, 29, an American citizen who was born to Afghan parents.

DON’T BE SO QUICK TO LABEL DR KOH’S ACTIONS, SAYS SDA AND PPP CHIEFS

When a man fainted at Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Center yesterday, passersby tried to bring the man to a nearby clinic, but found that it was closed. A quick thinking resident then ran to People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for Ang Mo Kio GRC, Dr Koh Poh Koon, who had just passed by the area during his walkabout. Dr Koh returned quickly and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the man, who looked to be in his 70s, and stayed to help the paramedics who arrived within eight minutes of receiving a call at 7.57am.

PLS VOTE WISELY, VOTE FOR US WHO WILL PROTECT YOUR RICE BOWLS FROM FOREIGNERS

During one of our walk about, we spoke to a Poly student about how we need change in the country. If he is an American, Australian or Japanese he will be able to enter University that is at least of second tier ranking. But as a Singaporean he has to compete with foreigners who are graduates from second, third or fourth tier Universities with his diploma. Competition will very likely be more tough in the coming years as we roll in the plans to increase the population to 6.9m in a small Island.
