WOMAN FINDS LIVE INSECT PACKED TOGETHER WITH NTUC'S CHICKEN FILLET

A Facebook user complained about finding an insect in her packaged chicken fillet from NTUC. She said the fly was still (packed) alive! "Bought this at NUH Ntuc this morning 6.6.17. There's a fly in it. This chicken fillet was packed yesterday. When I open the pack, the fly was still moving. Ntuc should do a check seriously since there has been cases of insects 'packed together'. I got to throw this pack away for fear of maggots."

BREADTALK SELLS STALE BUN THAT HAS GONE 'STICKY' BUT CLAIMS IT IS 'FRESH'

Dear BreadTalk, placing breads which has clearly passed the definition of "freshness" (and which expires in one day) is clearly a stark contradiction to a company which prides itself to serving breads that are "fresh" to consumers.

Made a shocking discovery recently about the supposedly “freshly prepared” soya bean milk sold at BreadTalk. Sometimes it’s better to see with your own eyes how things are made rather than believe all the marketing slogans that the companies throw at you.

Following reports of pond water meat, bleach-soaked pigs' feet and fake duck blood products, we now have to worry about steering clear of gelatin-filled shrimp. Yes, a vendor in Zhejiang is now under investigation after the tiny crustaceans at his shop were found to be injected with gelatin.
