According to expert Ho Ching, it is perfectly fine for patients at Changi Exhibition Centre to mingle around freely because they are "covided patients". She said the "ex-nurse" who claimed that the patients were unhygienic and not practising safe-distancing was talking "rubbish".

An infectious video of a nurse leading a group of patients, mostly migrant workers, in a mass dance at Expo has been flagged as an unauthorised filming of patient activity. What an anti-climax! It is not clear if it was a staff or patient who took the video but there was no doubt it raised the spirits of many, including other foreign workers, and whoever took it probably wanted to spread the cheer. Many have shared it on social media, including Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin.

In Parliament on 4 May, Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) Anthea Ong asked Minister of Manpower (MOM) Josephine Teo if the government will apologise to the foreign workers for the Covid19 outbreak in many dormitories. Josephine Teo claimed "I have not come across one single migrant worker himself that has demanded an apology". Her remarks have been criticised by many netizens. There were some who felt there is no shame in apologising considering these workers have helped build many of Singapore's infrastructure. Others called out her lack of humility for thinking she did no wrong, and that an apology needs to be demanded before it can be given.

An employer who hires foreign workers complained that the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) policies suck. His criticisms include how MOM comes out with multiple policies daily, and how information about these policies are passed on to employers inconsistently. He also explained that employers also face constraints and limits, and urged the ministers to walk the ground to see how employers are scrambling around trying to keep up with their short-notice policies.

Ho Ching: Singaporeans should reflect on their own living habits and hygiene before pointing fingers at foreign workers at dormitories. Singaporeans' living habits are no different from that of foreign workers at dormitories. Even though Singaporeans think they are "clean", they may be the ones spreading the virus around.

On 17 April 2020 the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced 623 confirmed Covid19 cases in Singapore as of 12pm. This meant the total number of coronavirus cases was over 5,050. Then now our SAF, SPF, MOM officers being used as butlers, security and food servers to these foreign workforce. Then the gahmen want to practice 'social distancing'. Keeping the foreign workforce and maintaining social distancing are mutually exclusive ideas. The PAP ideal is an impossible outcome. It is either more people in our island, or people spread further apart.

Residents of a Jurong West condominium have been left shocked and angry when they found out that their own Jurong West condominium have been registered to foreign workers as tenants, without their knowledge. The residents are now seeking answers from MOM over this very damaging process on MOM's part.

The workers were from Stargood Construction, and the workers claimed that they were owed a total of nearly $300,000 in non-payment for their work, which is a site located at the old CPF Building. The workers, hailing from Bangladesh, China and India, claimed that the salary was for the period between December 2018 to February 2019. Police vehicles were seen at the scene at Maxwell Link, and while the scene was clam, police officers were seen talking to the workers. It was understood that the protest started on Monday morning, with the workers staging the protest for a few hours each day.

The mall spokesperson said the car had taken a wrong turn from the driveway and ended up stuck on the stairs. Its staff then cordoned off the area and helped to direct traffic. The driver then activated his workers from his company to push his car back to the driveway. The spokesperson also added that the man drove off before a tow truck could arrive.
