SINCERELY PLEADING for eye-witnesses or drivers with in-car camera footages to come forward to assist in an accident which occured on 06 April 2016 (Wednesday) at 7.46pm, at the signalised Cross-Junction of Bedok Reservoir Road & Kaki Bukit Ave 1. The accident involved a BLACK Toyota Camry and a SILVER Nissan Pickup Low-bed Lorry. The Pickup crashed head-on into the right side fender of the Camry, resulting in a T-crash situation.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will use data from public transport video camera footage and Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system to fight terrorism and serious crimes. This deviates from the previous stance where the Ministry had said that it would not use some of the data. Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam explained that this change was imperative - “in this changed security environment, the Home Team must be able to collect and analyse suspicious travel patterns and respond swiftly and decisively, for our collective security”.
