A customer of 87 Just Thai restaurants shared his unpleasant experience with one of the staff member. This incident happened after the customer left a 1 star rating on their Google page. A staff member asked for feedback, and then proceeded to question the customer's upbringing and advised him to take some English lessons as well because of his bad grammar. The customer feels that this staff member was "literally humiliating me with polite words."

I believe that food blogging and sharing of new food trends on social media all contribute to keeping this industry on its toes. From the consumers' perspective, we get the chance to see what we can get before physically going down to the restaurant ourselves. I came across this post by Rubbish Eat Rubbish Grow, and I thought that the review came across a little strong with regards to the tone used (i.e. 'WTF, 'so f up', etc). I understand that the site regards honesty as one of its top priorities, but honestly? There are more professional ways in giving a bad review.

A Facebook user was charged $42 for 3 plates of pork chop rice and 1 side dish of steamed pork at a coffeeshop along 27 Yong Siak Street. She was so angered by the blatant overcharging, she decided to post up her negative experience with the stall online.
