A customer of 87 Just Thai restaurants shared his unpleasant experience with one of the staff member. This incident happened after the customer left a 1 star rating on their Google page. A staff member asked for feedback, and then proceeded to question the customer's upbringing and advised him to take some English lessons as well because of his bad grammar. The customer feels that this staff member was "literally humiliating me with polite words."

The Facebook (FB) page Wild Blooms apparently received some feedback from customers who did not recommend their cafe. However, a person allegedly linked with the cafe went to insult customers for giving negative feedback on their food. Our contributors wonder if it is right for any establishment or its linked persons to insult customers in such a manner.

When you first step in to IPPUDO you are greeted by the lively staff, i noticed the classy decor and artwork made by ramen spoons, as we were being seated the staff set up a foldable box for us to put our belongings in, i thought it was a nifty extra service and appreciated it.

I came across this post by Rubbish Eat Rubbish Grow, and I thought that the review came across a little strong with regards to the tone used (i.e. 'WTF, 'so f up', etc). I understand that the site regards honesty as one of its top priorities, but honestly? There are more professional ways in giving a bad review.

A Facebook user was charged $42 for 3 plates of pork chop rice and 1 side dish of steamed pork at a coffeeshop along 27 Yong Siak Street. She was so angered by the blatant overcharging, she decided to post up her negative experience with the stall online. According to her Facebook post, the 3 pork chop rice meals cost $27, while the steamed pork side dish cost $15.

There has been a lot of media coverage about preserving our Hawker Heritage and efforts to encourage Young Hawkers to take up the trade. It seems like it is a dying trade where the replacement rate is out paced by the older generation of hawkers getting too old to handle the workload or passing on.
