FISHING HOOK SLICES INTO LITTLE GIRL'S CHEEK @ BISHAN PARK

A little girl had the unfortunate experience of being "hooked" by the cheek on Sunday while having a day out with her family at Bishan Park. The incident happened at 7.30PM when the family was just strolling in the park on their usual Sunday routine. The little girl had been using a scooter to ride through the park and reached the bridge opposite of the McDonald's when she noticed 3 boys playing with a fishing rod. They were allegedly swing the rod wildly despite the heavy human traffic.

Good grief! Just spotted 2 boys who brought their fishing rods to fish at the lily ponds outside ArtScience Museum at MBS! Had to tell them TWICE to stop as they moved from spot to spot to avoid me before finally moving off. Jeez!

2 BOYS CAUGHT ILLEGALLY FISHING FOR "PHOTOS" AT ESPLANADE

I'm submitting a few photos and a video of 2 boys catching fish illegally at Esplanade and hurting the fish. They hook the bait on the fish so that they can take photo with their catch, hurting the fish in the process. The fish is out of the water for more than 20 minutes, and suffering from shock from the flashlight of the camera and also being out of water.

WILD OTTERS INJURED AFTER ILLEGAL ANGLER USED FISHING HOOK TO HURT THEM

Feeling FURIOUS! Today, Bishan-AMK otter pup was injured because of an illegal fisherman!!!! From the video, you can see that the man lowered his fishing line intentionally to harm/hook the otters. He was smiling when he managed to hook the otters. By the time I realised something was wrong. It was too late. Poor otter was seen limping

MALAYSIAN ARRESTS SINGAPORE FISHERMEN IN SINGAPORE WATERS NEAR PEDRA BRANCA

4 Singapore fishermen and their ship were arrested by Malaysian marine police in Singapore waters at about 6AM on Tuesday. Singapore's Foreign Affairs ministry has registered its "concerns" with Malaysia over this illegal detention. In a statement to the media, the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) confirmed that the ship, SMF1195, was detained by the Malaysian police on Tuesday for alleged "illegal fishing in Malaysian waters". The fishing ship was impounded at Kota Tinggi in Johor.
