S'PORE FINA SWIMMING WORLD CUP FINALS CANCELLED DUE TO HAZE

Organisers of the Singapore leg of the Fina Swimming World Cup announced their decision to cancel the WC finals scheduled for 6pm after the 3-hour PSI reading escalated towards the unhealthy range. This is the first time the FINA World Cup had been cancelled in Singapore since its inception in 2007.

Tao Li said: "Singapore has given me the opportunity to go to the United Kingdom, Australia and America to train, so I think I have all the experience that other swimmers might not have. "I want to set up my own swim club to give back to the association and to everyone who likes swimming, so that I can teach them how to swim. I want them to enjoy swimming. I want to give back to society."
