Facebook user Viv Smith posted a photo in a closed Formula 1 interest group on Sunday, showing a couple standing on the race track. The post read: "3am in the morning. Bribed the security guard to let us onto the track. He not only agreed, he took the photo. Non F1 fans won't understand this, but most of us will." Smith later retracted his claims, saying there was "no bribery, no corruption, no nothing". The couple was on the track when the gates were open, and had merely asked the guard to help take a photo of them, he wrote.

They are investigating the breach in track security at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The couple had allegedly posted that they bribed a security guard to let them onto the track, and ended with the security guard himself taking a photo for the couple.

In 2015, the average was 87,000 and the highest was 100,000 in 2008 when the first Singapore Grand Prix was hosted” – “According to its (Singapore Tourism Board) statistics, the race has attracted 350,000 international visitors over the last 8 years of the race”. So, how is it possible that the average of 43,750 international visitors per year in the first 8 years (350,000 divided by 8) until 2015 can become 450,000 by this year?

My 15yrs old daughter was sent to work in a POSH restuarant at the Marina Bay area by her SCHOOL for the F1 event in September 2016. I understood from her teachers that it is COMPULSORY for the students as it was APPROVED by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION. For the 3 nights events, my daughter & her fellow students earned a mere 1 CCA point!! Is this considered child slavery when organisers & the companies involved in F1 racing are earning millions $$$???

News reports have finally revealed the nationality of the 27 year-old man, who was arrested during the F1 event on Sunday when he crossed into the F1 night race track, prompting panicked responses from F1 officials. The British national, who was captured on camera as he walked along the track while the race was ongoing, was arrested for committing a "rash act" and was charged in court this morning.

In a statement released after the Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix yesterday, the Formula One governing body has confirmed that a 27 year-old man who climbed out onto the F1 night race track yesterday has been arrested by Singapore police.
