They say that preacher on radio Hang spread extreme ideas to their listeners. I was read your facebook and see some people argue say Radio HANG is not extreme views. They say they listen in to Batam's Radio HANG and never listen to any extreme preaching at all.

The Singapore Islamic Scholars and Religious Teachers Association (PERGAS) has expressed its concerns over Islamic State (IS) propaganda and issued a statement to the local Muslim community yesterday, calling on it to be careful and not to be swayed by these. PERGAS said it was of the opinion that “IS and any other groups with radical beliefs that cause bloodshed among Muslims and murder innocent lives are carrying out acts that are against the teachings of Islam and have no links to Islam”.

Malaysian police have detained three Muslim men suspected of wanting to go to Syria to join the militant Islamic State group, a senior police official said today (Sept 26). The three were detained yesterday at the Kuala Lumpur international airport while waiting for a flight to Turkey, said Mr Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, who heads the national police counter-terrorism unit. “From Turkey, the men were planning to make their way to Syria to join the Islamic State terror group,” Mr Ayob Khan said.

A family of four is believed to be among 30 Malaysians fighting in the Middle East alongside the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (Isis) forces, which has carved out a reputation for brutal treatment of their enemies and hostages. Sources said the four were believed to be the first Malaysian family fighting in the ongoing civil war in Syria, and were among the hundreds of foreigners who signed up with Isis which had been condemned by most Muslim countries including Malaysia.
