I PITY YOUTHS FOR DRIVING UBER DESPITE STUDYING SO MUCH, WHAT'S THE GOVT DOING?

A taxi driver finds it sad that educated youths are turning to private hire instead of getting proper jobs that match their qualifications. Why is it so difficult to get a job in Singapore nowadays? Why is it so poorly managed?

Would Halimah Yacob have qualified for PE2017 if the Government stuck to the Constitutional Commission's recommendation of having at least 6 years experience in a relevant office? Mdm Halimah had only held the office of the Speaker for about 4.5 years.

I HATED BIZHUB TOO, THEY FIRED ME FOR NOT PAYING FOR BOSS' BIRTHDAY PARTY

PAP MP LOUIS NG WORKS ONE DAY AS A TOWN COUNCIL CLEANER

As Chairman of the Town Council, it's important for me to understand what's happening on the ground, see where the gaps are and where we can improve. It is also important for me to understand the difficulties our cleaners face. And so the best way to understand is to experience it first-hand, which I did today. It was a physically exhausting experience but I also experienced something beautiful. I experienced how Hanif was clearly well-loved by the community and how he is so full of smiles. Residents smiled at him too, waved (from their houses, motorcycles, cars etc), shook hands, chatted, laughed, it was beautiful to see.

PAP MP LOUIS NG PLANS TO ROLEPLAY DIFFERENT JOBS TO 'UNDERSTAND' THE GROUND BETTER

First term MP for Nee Soon GRC Louis Ng announced that he would step away from his post at least once a month to take on various work stints to put himself in their shoes and understand what is really happening on the ground. His first work stint will be at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital where he will experience the life of a healthcare worker, he claims he "will do everything a healthcare worker does in his or her normal shift and do an actual shift at the hospital". After his KTPH stint, he intends to work as a taxi driver, a coffee shop assistant, cleaner and a secondary school student.

BIG BOX HABITAT HAS THE WORST DELIVERY & VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We purchased some furniture items from Big Box Habitat in Jul. Items were not received as per scheduled, so we called their customer service hotline but no ones answered, called the sales person, her phone was off. So we went to the showroom in that evening and found out the sales person was not on duty.
