CAB DRIVERS MAIN JOB NOT TO CATCH UBER & GRAB DRIVERS, SO STOP IT!

I am in a comfort taxi yesterday and the driver looks more concern in catching errand motorists than driving me as the passenger safely. If they are really getting annoyed with these private hire cars causing them to lose their cabbies because many drivers have jumped ships, then they should just work together with LTA to enforce such policing activities!

Caught this hard working car park enforcement officer parked his bike on doblue yellow line next to a Fire Hydrant while busy issuing summons... But never realized he himself has also committed an offence!! Hello LTA, SCDF, Traffic Police I know this car park enforcement officer is doing his job.. And he has the right to park on double yellow line while on duty.. BUT... BUT... I thought it is also an offence to park his bike within 3 meters of a Fire Hydrant???

HDB OFFICERS AUTHORISED TO BREAK INTO YOUR HDB FLATS TO CONDUCT URGENT REPAIRS

Housing Board flat owners may soon have to open their doors to authorised HDB officers, so that these officers can repair ceiling leaks more promptly. On Thursday, Minister of State for National Development Desmond Lee introduced a Bill in Parliament to amend the Housing and Development Act to allow this. The proposed change to the law, if passed, will empower authorised officers to enter any flat at any reasonable time, after giving 24 hours' notice. This is to investigate whether any urgent repairs need to be carried out in a flat and to carry out the necessary repairs.

GREEDY LTA ENFORCEMENT DESPERATE TO SUCK S’POREANS DRY

As we were having breakfast in a coffee shop, someone shouted, “Come already, come already”. He was warning customers of the omnipresent LTA Enforcement. Those who came on bikes or cars rushed out to avoid receiving a summons. I overheard a comment by a senior citizen who said, “What kind of country is this? People park a while also cannot they must come to summon.” The time? 6:20 AM!!
