Despite winning the elections for Aljunied, Sengkang and Hougang, Workers' Party MPs still have to hold their Meet-the-People's sessions in make-shift cubicles at the open-air void decks. Contrast this to the PAP losing candidates, who still get the role of 'grassroots advisors' and are freely allowed to use the CCs and RCs for their grassroots activities.

Just before nomination day, Hwa Chong Institution sent out an email to all students regarding their online behaviour for the Singapore General Elections. The email basically warns all students not to post anything related to the election on their social media.

Just before PM Lee left for his one week break, and just after pissing off the people of Vietnam and Cambodia, PM Lee spoke at the annual Business China awards ceremony held at the Marina Bay Sands on Friday, June 7.
