Tragedy struck even though the court was just refurbished a year ago.

This was the third huge vegetation fire that occurred on Monday. Earlier in the day, two separate vegetation fires broke out along Jurong Road and Pang Sua Canal. A search operation is ongoing right now at East Coast Beach for a missing person. According to reports, the missing person is believed to be a boy, and the SCDF had received the call for help at around 12:45pm today. The area of the search had been cordoned off by the police, and it is also understood that three coastal police boats are involved in the search. Hopefully, the missing person can be found soon.
