E-SCOOTER RENTAL SERVICES TO BE LAUNCHED IN SEPTEMBER

Singapore-based company PopScoot, started in April this year, will bring the service to downtown commercial clusters and the heartland in September. The e-scooters will cost $2 for 30 minutes, with the first 10 minutes free of charge. By the end of August, four sites will start off first as docking stations. The four sites are at ManuLife Centre, Republic Plaza, Tiong Bahru Plaza and City Square Mall.

E-SCOOTER RIDER HAVE DEATH WISH, SEEN RIDING IN KPE TUNNEL

This mobility and e-scooter thing is just going too far and out of hand already. What possessed a man on an e-scooter to ride through the KPE Tunnel? It was reported that a person was seen riding an electric scooter along the road shoulder of a Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway tunnel early last Friday morning, based by a footage from an in-car camera. The Police have said that they were aware of the incident, and urged anyone with information on the incident to make a police report on the case, so that appropriate actions can be taken. A 42-year-old taxi driver, who captured the incident on his in-car camera and declined to be named, said: "(It is) difficult to assess his speed as he was preparing to cut across the Upper Paya Lebar exit to continue his journey farther along the road shoulder. "I was going about 70 to 80kmh and he was slower than me."

my dad was assaulted by a rider on an electronic scooter at hougang avenue 7 while crossing the road last night at about 9:30pm. rider is likely staying at paya lebar, chinese man, big size, looks rather muscular. Assaulter claimed to b 60 years old but my dad think he looks 40+. After being attacked, my dad suffered a heart attack. my dad did not provoke the rider. the rider was speeding towards my parent while they were crossing the road, n my dad was avoiding him n the plastic bag he was carrying that contained my dad's raincoat accidentally brushed the man on his helmet.

IF A DRUNK E-SCOOTER RIDER CRASH INTO VICTIM, WHOSE FAULT?

Drink Driving is a serious violation under the laws of Singapore. The interpretation of "vehicle" is stated clearly. A bicycle isn't part of it. Many people ride bicycles after drinks. These people are a danger to themselves and to other road users. There isn't any provision to charge such violators.
