Two double decker bus sandwiched a car in an accident that occurred at Dunearn Road on Monday morning, in what was a multi vehicle pile up, in which two buses and three cars were involved. SCDF was alerted to the accident at 8:40 am, and reported that a 64 year old male driver was taken to hospital conscious.

A prime mover was reported to have caught fire on Thursday evening, resulting in a massive jam at Whitley Road and Dunearn Road. It was understood that the brakes of the lorry was faulty, which caused friction with the tyres, and in turn causing the fire.
