We are screwed. Singapore's 3 major component that build up our economies are poised to die. And whats left of manufacturing, airport, pharmaceutical sectors, biotech, educational hub etc are just not large employers or big money earners. I am not smart enough to know what we can do. I honestly think the current government is not that smart too, but what choice do we have.

Politicians insult the intelligence of Singaporeans on a daily basis. Hundreds of such lines have been recorded to date, more being produced every day.

While the PAP IBs will tell you that this is because Singapore is more developed and its citizens richer and we should thus be happy to pay more. But the reality is that for most businesses, high rents means that they have no choice but to raise the prices of their goods. And who really benefits, except the government?

How amusing it is to see Singaporeans complaining about an Electorate system halfway round the world, while they kept quiet about our very own GRC system.

This is my take on the 'reflection on GE2015'. Those who voted PAP has still not woke up to suddenly find that their neighbors to the right, to the left, above and below their flat , are ALL PRCs. They still think they are the majority but the population profile is shifting and one day they will realise they are actually living in China not Singapore. They are everywhere - in the park during my morning walks, hawker centres, bus drivers, condominiums dwellers, pedestrians...everywhere.

I wonder whether to call it legendary or comical that a people, well educated, well travelled, can be so daft to the point of idiocy. That is the daft Sinkie. They have the best education and training from very young, to attend the best and most expensive nurseries and kindergartens, best schools and universities, tuitions and all the enrichment courses only to turn themselves into perfect droids, can do anything if programmed but cannot think.
