POLICE INVESTIGATING GROUP OF CYCLISTS SEEN FLOUTING TRAFFIC RULES

A video showing a large group of Caucasian cyclists "road hogging" and weaving dangerously in and out of traffic at Sengkang East Drive has attracted the attention of the Traffic Police (TP). According to a statement to the media on Sunday, TP said that they would be looking into the incident and asked anyone with information to come forward.

CYCLIST’S LOWER BODY MANGLED AFTER ACCIDENT WITH TRUCK

A 57-year-old Singaporean cyclist was killed in an accident with a tipper truck along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 today. Paramedics from the Singapore Civil Defence Force were notified at 5.25pm. They pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene. Callers who alerted the authorities and media said the lower half of the victim’s body was mangled. A bicycle was seen about 50 metres away from his body.
