AMDK Cyclists Confront Driver By Blocking Traffic And Disregarding Road Safety

I was driving casually on a very busy Sunday (30 Aug 2020, 5 - 5.15pm) on ECP. When nearing McDonalds I saw this group of Caucasian cyclist cycling dangerously in 2 lines. When the driver turn in, the cyclist in yellow dangerously cut into in front of my car without checking his blind spot. That was when he rode in front of my car jam break and start pouring profanities cursing and swearing.

Cyclists At Punggol Are Dangerous Obstructions To Drivers

I live in Punggol and I frequent the Seletar North link to commute to Yishun. On numerous occasions, I have encountered cyclist riding along that road to Marina Country club, passing by Safra, all the way to Kadaloor. I feel they are such a dangerous obstruction to drivers. Especially now that there are more BTOs around Northshore drive, more vehicles are using the Seletar North link.

SG MUST HAVE LAWS FOR PEDESTRIANS ON FOOT PATH TOO!

I read with amusement an article on the TODAY newspaper, writing about how Singapore should have a code of ethics for pedestrians walking on footpaths and on park connectors. Article writer basically indicated that since cyclists and personal mobility device users would soon be subjected to rules on the proper usage of roads and paths, pedestrians should not be spared also. He was ashamed at how some of us walk on footpaths and park connectors with disregard for our own safety and that of others. So he wants a code of ethics for pedestrians to be rolled out. Pedestrians should not use headphones to listen to music and should not read and text on their mobile phone. When a shared path is narrow, they should walk in a single row so as not to obstruct others.

CAN THE TRAFFIC POLICE DO SOMETHING ABT CYCLISTS & E-BIKERS AT WEST COAST HIGHWAY

I drive along West Coast Highway 6 days a week. As this highway is occupied by many big trailers and lorries, I worry about numerous cyclists who cycle along this highway everyday, often in groups. My questions to the authorities: 1) Why are the authorities and traffic police turning a blind eye to these cyclists? I thought it's a regulation that cyclists are banned from cycling on expressways. At times, they even come in hugh groups occupying one whole lane, especially on weekends.

CYCLISTS SHOULD LEARN TO CYCLE SINGLE FILE & STOP ROAD HOGGING

Cyclists should only cycle in single file. Most cyclists I see, especially those wearing fancy cycling attires like to cycle side by side. I'm all for everyone sharing the road...but cyclists seem to forget that if they dun ride safely, we drivers may lose our licence / freedom (go to jail) but they may lose their lives.

GOVT’S LAX ATTITUDE TO PRC CYCLISTS AT WOODLANDS CRESCENT IS DISAPPOINTING

Are we changing our environment to accommodate foreign workers' habits? The location where the pictures are taken is a hot spot for cyclist (foreign workers) along woodlands crescent every morning and evening. A video was being uploaded recently. The recent widening of the bus stop waiting area seem to be passing the wrong signal to the cyclists that it is permissible to cycle on footpath which is not even allowed in the first place. Being a resident of this area, I am very sure that at least 50% of the cyclist are PRC, the rest being made up of other nationalities with only a small fraction of locals.
