SPEEDING CYCLIST KNOCKED DOWN BOY AT SERANGOON PARK CONNECTOR, OFFERS $10 MEDICAL FEES

On 10/01/2016 (Sunday), at around 11.15am at the Serangoon Park Connector near the fitness corner towards Punggol (after Hougang Capeview), my 3-year old boy was knocked down by an extremely fast-riding cyclist (Chinese, standing at about 1.65m, in perhaps his forties, wearing full cyclist attire, and said he stays in Pasir Ris) riding a road bike who could not brake in time, despite my husband shouting for precaution when he was already a distance away and knocked into my son.

73 YR OLD GRANNY KNOCKED DOWN BY CYCLIST WHO BEAT THE RED LIGHT

A 73 year old grandmother on her way to the wet market when she was hit and knocked down by a bicycle. She was about to cross the traffic light when the cyclist beat the red light dash through and rammed into her at speed. Because of the forceful impact, the old lady fracture her left arm and suffered heavy bruising on her face.

ANGRY PEDESTRIAN PUSHED OFF ONCOMING CYCLIST IN UNPROVOKED ATTACK

At 7am this morning, opposite Central mall just before the tunnel, I was pushed off my bike by a man probably in his 40's, in yellow tees, black shorts, black headphone. I hit my right face against a side wall and broke my front tooth. My cheek and lip are swelling. My hubby and a jogger ran after my attacker but they couldn't stopped him.

ELDERLY MAN KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS AT MARINE PARADE DIED IN HOSPITAL

An 87 year-old man, who was mowed down by SBS Bus 196 while cycling at a traffic junction near Tao Nan Primary School in Marine Parade, has reportedly died of his injuries in hospital shortly after the accident. The incident took place at the junction of Marine Crescent and Marine Parade Road on Sunday morning. After the impact of the crash, the elderly man's lower body was pinned underneath the front of the bus (as shown in pictures).

CYCLIST UNHAPPY HE CANNOT BRING FOLDABLE BIKE ONTO MRT DURING PEAK HOUR

I saw this post by a cyclist complaining about SMRT's policy on bringing fold-able bicycles onto the trains. Cyclists are currently are free to bring their fold-able bikes onto the trains everyday except for peak hours during weekdays. This cyclist thinks SMRT's policy is stupidity at its best and it does not help keep the environment green.
