2 MORE ERP GANTRY ACTIVATED, AND 2 MORE HAVE INCREASED RATE. PAY AND PAY!

The rate for both gantries will be $2 between 5.30pm and 7pm, and $1 from 7pm to 7.30pm. Meanwhile, ERP rates at two gantries along the north-bound Central Expressway (CTE) will also be increased during evening peak hours from Feb 20. Both gantries are located after the PIE exit. Of course, reason given by the LTA is that the expressway at the those directions has slowed down tremendously, so need to put up ERP to discourage drivers from using the expressway at the peak period timing.

CRANE THAT WAS BEING TRANSPORTED HITS CTE CEILING, DRIVER ARRESTED

This afternoon (Dec 5), a 63 year-old man was driving a heavy vehicle when the crane it was transporting hit the ceiling of the Central Expressway tunnel (CTE). The man was arrested. It is likely that the accident took place because the crane was not stowed properly. The accident took place at the CTE tunnel (towards SLE) at Upper Cross Street Entrance. The accident caused the Upper Cross Street entrance to the CTE to be closed.

Hello my family, fellow friends and Facebook users. Last Saturday, 1/10/16 at 2200hrs, I've met into an accident along PIE and CTE exit. MASSIVE JAM ON CTE TOWARDS AYE AFTER OIL SPILL ON ROAD

An oil spill has occurred on the CTE, in the direction towards the AYE before the Outram exit. The police said that the incident has affected three lanes of traffic on the expressway, causing a congestion. They have advised motorists to avoid travelling on the CTE towards the AYE.
